There is something to be said about saving your own. Austin Firefighters have always been good at stepping up when a fellow brother or sister is hurt or experiencing loss. For the past 19 years and counting, your Austin Firefighters Relief Outreach Fund has provided immediate emergency financial assistance to first responders, their families and our local Austin community in the event of unexpected tragedy and catastrophic life events including natural disasters, fires, severe illness, debilitating injury and death.  In addition, our AFROF works hard to provide special assistance to Austin Firefighters who fall victim to cancer.
